Where Is Chateau De Robernier?
Château Robernier is located near Montfort-sur-Argens in the Var region of Provence, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and beautiful countryside.
One of the things we love most about the venue is that it feels wonderfully private and secluded whilst still being surprisingly easy for guests to reach.
Nearest Airports
Toulon Airport – approximately 1 hour by car
Marseille Provence Airport – approximately 1 hour 10 minutes by car
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport – approximately 1 hour 20 minutes by car
All three airports offer car hire, making it easy for guests who want to explore Provence during their stay. Many couples also organise shuttle buses or private transfers from local accommodation, helping guests move between airports, hotels and the château with ease.
One of the biggest advantages of Château Robernier is its proximity to Cotignac, one of the most beautiful villages in Provence and only around ten minutes away!! Many guests choose to stay there before or after the wedding, making the destination wedding experience feel like a proper holiday rather than a quick trip abroad. It’s also a great town to have welcome drinks to create some variety in locations used throughout the wedding events!
What Makes Château Robernier Such a Special Wedding Venue?
Why Provence Works So Well For Destination Weddings
One of the reasons Provence has become such a sought-after wedding destination is because the wedding itself becomes part of a much larger experience.
Guests arrive a few days early, spend time together by the pool, explore local villages, enjoy long dinners outdoors and settle into a slower pace of life before the wedding even begins. Rather than everyone arriving for a single day and immediately leaving afterwards, destination weddings in Provence create space for genuine connection and turn a wedding day into a wedding weekend.
Friends who have never met get to know each other and Families spend time reconnecting. Guests get to explore a new part of the world, and the wedding day becomes the centrepiece of a much bigger fun & unique experience.
Accommodation and Guest Experience
One of the reasons Château Robernier works so well for destination weddings is that it allows your closest family and friends to stay immersed in the celebration from beginning to end.
The château offers accommodation for approximately 24-26 guests across 12 bedrooms located within the estate. This makes it perfect for immediate family, wedding parties and close friends who want to experience the entire wedding weekend together!!
For larger weddings, nearby villages such as Cotignac provide additional accommodation options including boutique hotels, guesthouses and holiday rentals.
What we love most is how naturally the accommodation connects with the rest of the estate. Morning coffee can become conversations by the pool. the day after the wedding might involve a swim, a relaxed brunch or simply spending more time together before guests begin their journey home.
Because everything is located within one private estate, there is a sense of ease that can be difficult to recreate at traditional hotel venues. It feels less like attending a wedding and more like sharing a beautiful few days together in Provence.
Best Time Of Year To Get Married At Château Robernier
May, June, September and early October are often our favourite months in Provence.
The weather is typically warm and comfortable, the countryside is beautiful, and guests can enjoy outdoor celebrations throughout the day and evening.
July and August remain incredibly popular, especially for couples wanting guaranteed sunshine. Whilst temperatures can be significantly warmer during these months, a well-planned timeline can make a huge difference. Later ceremony times, shaded cocktail hours and making the most of Provence's beautiful evenings often allow couples to enjoy everything the venue has to offer whilst avoiding the hottest part of the day.
